Digital Anthology

The ten images below serve as entry paths into primary texts linked to each of the themes listed with those visuals. This digital anthology uses the same organizing topics as the themes in our print anthology. Individual entries included here are not “less important” to transatlantic study than those in the print collection. Rather, they are especially suited to digital presentation—e.g., by connecting well to more than one thematic category (and thus appearing in more than one section here) and/or by benefiting from interactive links within their texts and paratexts.
